Hulk Hogan shocked the world earlier this month when a video that was record years ago emerged of the WWE wrestler making racial remarks during a conversation with a lover. While the world has been watching on as the scandal has continued to make headlines, different celebrities have been weighing in on the controversy. Another wrestling heavy weight and Ballers star, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson weighed in on the scandal surrounding his friend.

According to Radar Online, the star is pretty disheartened by what his wrestling brother had to say.

"I was pretty disappointed with what I heard, like all of us," the star explained of his pal, who he has been close with for a while. "I have known Terry for a lot of years. My dad helped train him in Florida in the '70s when he was breaking into the business. I come from a very long lineage of professional wrestlers."

E! News is also reporting on what Johnson had to say regarding the Hulk, saying that he understands what Hogan is going through as he had to apologize for using offensive language in a interview eight years ago.

"I had not known the man to be racist. It's funny, it's one of those things were, and not justifying what he said but we've all talked trash, especially in private," Johnson stated. "He said what he said and he's paid the price."

Radar is reporting that Hogan has definitely paid the price, as he has since been fired from the WWE and his reputation has definitely taken a major hit.
