Now that Marvel's Daredevil has finally premiered for binge-watching viewers, production continues for the upcoming Netflix superhero series. Destined to be together in the comics, will Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) and Mike Colter (Luke Cage) end up becoming "flawed lovers" in Marvel's Jessica Jones?

As we previously mentioned, Jessica Jones (Ritter) suffers from post-traumatic stress due to her superhero days. After giving up on her costumed lifestyle, Jones becomes the sole owner of Alias Private Investigations. The Netflix series follows the super-powered private eye as she investigates cases of the extraordinary kind.

We mentioned before, before getting his own series, Luke Cage will first appear in an episode of Marvel's Jessica Jones. During an investigation in New York City, the super-powered private investigator (played by Krysten Ritter) will encounter the enigmatic superhero. His secrets will dramatically alter Jessica in ways she could never have imagined.

According to Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Melissa Rosenberg (Dexter) was at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour and dropped a bit of scoop on the upcoming Netflix series.

After describing Jones as an "incredibly flawed, damaged and interesting character regardless of gender," Rosenberg then went on to add, "Jessica Jones is a very, very different show than Daredevil. We exist in a cinematic universe, [and] the mythology of the universe is connected, but they look very different, tonally they're very different... That was my one concern coming in: Am I going to have to fit into Daredevil or what's come before? And the answer is no."

As for sticking to the mythology set by Marvel, Rosenberg adds, "We're using some pretty obscure characters, so we're taking them all over the place. We have to be cognizant of the mythology and the world."

The official Twitter account posted the show's official logo and tweets, "Here's that official #JessicaJones logo you've been asking for."

Marvel's Jessica Jones doesn't yet have a specific release date yet, but is expected to debut in late 2015.
