The San Francisco Giants take the field against the Atlanta Braves in Week 18 of the regular season on Monday, August 3 at 7:10 p.m. EST at Turner Field in Georgia. Giants (6): "The Giants acquired Mike Leake to bolster their rotation, bumping Tim Hudson out in the process. Leake should transition well, since he's 4-0 with a 2.59 ERA lifetime at AT&T Park." Connor Grossman, West Coast Bias 

The team currently holds a steady 57-47 winning record and remains 2nd in the National League Western Division.

Braves (23): "Atlanta surprised everyone by trading Alex Wood and top prospect Jose Peraza to the Dodgers. Now they are eagerly awaiting the purported hitting prowess of the principal player they got in return, third baseman Hector Olivera. They haven't won back-to-back games since July 20-21, a stretch that's seen them go 2-9, scoring more than three runs just once." Martin Gandy, Chop County 

With that, Atlanta snags 47 wins and 58 losses and is now 3rd in the National League Eastern Division.

The Monday evening ball game will be broadcasted live on local sports channels SPSO and CSBy.
