Jimmy Page To Model For John Varvatos, Legendary Guitarist of Led Zeppelin

A music legend and former guitarist of the rock band Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Page will be reportedly modelling for menswear designer John Varvatos. Page will be gracing their advertisement campaigns.

Page will be posing with the an upcoming guitar talent from Texas, 28- year-old Gary Clark Jr. The ad portraits have been aptly titled, "The Master & The Young Guitar Slinger," The Telegraph reported. The ad was shot at the historic Rivoli Ballroom in London.

"It was an honor to work with John Varvatos on his new campaign and to be paired alongside a legend like Jimmy Page for this shoot," said an ecstatic Texan guitarist, Ultimateclassicrock reported.

"Jimmy Page has been a music and fashion icon of mine since 1970. He has been a major influence and I am honored to call Jimmy a friend. Gary Clark Jr. is the real deal - amazing guitar player, singer, songwriter and friend. Having 'The Master' and the 'Young Guitar-Slinger' together in our campaign is a dream come true," said Varvatos in a statement.

Legends like Paul Weller, Alice Cooper, Iggy Pop and Slash have all modelled for John Varvatos, previously.

Page is expected to undertake a 2013 solo tour, the details for which are not yet known.
