Singer and songwriter, Lady Gaga has confirmed  rumors of her next jazz album with the legendary singer, Tony Bennett.

"The Edge of Glory" singer hinted, Jan. 23 on her Twitter account that she will be doing an album with Bennett. She Tweeted, "And here's me and my handsome date, I simply cannot wait for our album together, he's my darling!" The singers performed together at the White House Staff Ball that followed Barack Obama's inauguration. Gaga posted a photo of her on a Batmobile shaped white piano.

They both sang their collaboration song, "The Lady Is a Tramp" which they had done earlier for Bennett's "Tony Bennett: Duets II."

Bennett had previously told MTV that, "My favorite is that Lady Gaga. She's the biggest. I'll tell you, I never met anyone with more talent than that lady."

Bennett told Billboard that he and Gaga will be working with orchestrator/arranger Marion Evans for the album that will be a double-billed LP. Though the 86-year-old singer did not give out the song list, he revealed that the album would "really reaffirm that [Gaga is] one of the best jazz singers that anyone's ever heard," SPIN reported.

The 26-year-old singer is presently working on her latest album "ARTPOP" that is set to release this year.

Her producer, Zedd has reportedly said that it will be "hard to find the time" for the collaborative album, as he further added that "we've been working on it for over a year now. There's still a lot of work left," Entertainmentwise reported.
