Coachella 2013: Final Line-Up Has Been Revealed, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phoenix, The Stone Roses, Blur To Headline At The Music Festival

The line-up for this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has been finally announced. This year- American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, English alternative rock band Blur, another English rock band The Stone Roses and French alternative rock band Phoenix will be headlining at the music festival in Coachella, California.

American indie rock band Yeah Yeah Yeahs, rock musician Lou Reed, indie rock band Modest Mouse and alternative hip hop group, Jurassic 5 will be joining in with Blur and The Stone Rose to perform on April 12 and April 19.

The Los Angeles Times reports, the festival has a "reputation for presenting a heavily curated lineup that connects the dots among hitmakers, underground artists and those on the comeback trail."

Another much awaited band is the electronic musical group The Postal Service. The Postal Service features electronica producer Jimmy Tambore and lead singer Ben Gibbard.

The other acts that will take place are from alternative rock band Violent Femmes, English rock band New Order, pop-punk band the Descendents, hip-hop group Jurassic 5 (who are local but celebrated group), punk band Social Distortion and rap act the Wu-Tang Clan.

If anyone is looking for young bands, the line-up also has indie rock band Wild Belle, indie band Kids These Days, soul musician Allen Stone and electronic music duo from Montreal, Purity Ring.

 "They pay you lots of money, and there's a large captive audience," said Laura Ballance, co-founder of North Carolina indie label Merge Records.
