Cop Car's Kevin Bacon made a video for Mashable where he calls for more full-frontal male nudity on screens in both film and television. He told people to use #FreeTheBacon to join the good fight.

In the video, Bacon says that there's a huge problem in Hollywood in that tons of movies and shows display naked women, but so few of them display men in the same way.

"It's not fair to actors, because we want to be naked, too," Bacon deadpans in the video.

He goes on to say that "this is an issue of gender equality" that we all should be paying attention to.

Next he starts giving out some suggestions. For example, why didn't audiences get to see Christian Grey's "wiener" in 50 Shades of Grey?

"Why not let Jamie Dornan take off his pants?" Bacon wonders.

He also comments that Game of Thrones should really get with the picture and start showing more of men. The show already has so many sex scenes – so many of which feature naked women – he says, why not just show some male nudity?

Bacon's not the first one to call for more naked men on Game of Thrones, even if he's doing it in a teasing way.

"I think Thrones has been better than your average show with the equality, but they could definitely ramp it up!" Thrones star Natalie Dormer said last year.

"What's wrong with showing male nudity? The male body is a place of desire, too, so let's have some more equality there," agreed actor DeObia Oparei, who appeared in the most recent season, told Vulture.

Even Jack Gleeson, who played Joffrey on the show, agrees that there should be more male nudity.

Anna Kendrick joined in the call this spring with a simple tweet:

To close out the video, Bacon calls for everyone to tweet with #FreeTheBacon to show their support for his terribly important cause.
