This might be a first in the Duggar family. While courtships are a prerequisite to a marriage in the self-professed Christian 19 Kids and Counting household, we can't remember there ever being a courtship split before now. However, today it was revealed that just after three months of dating, Josiah Duggar and girlfriend Marjorie Jackson have decided to end their relationship. The couple announced back in April that they were seeing each other.  However, following the cancellation of the Duggar's reality series and the molestation scandal that has been following the family, it seems that Josiah and Marjorie have agreed to break up.

The split doesn't come as that much of a shock to fans, as according to Radar Online it has been three months since the couple has been featured in any pictures on each other's social media sites.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar also posed the news on their Facebook page that the former lovebirds are no longer together.

"Both Josiah and Marjorie have enjoyed getting to know each other and to build their friendship over the past months," the family revealed. "A few weeks ago Marjorie and Josiah agreed to end their courtship, keeping in step with what they believe the Lord's will is."

"Both are thankful for the time getting to know each other, and their families continue to enjoy each other's company and close friendship," the Duggars continued.

However, Jackson might be looking to spill some of the details on her relationship with Joshiah, as the starlet has resumed writing.

"I'm back to the blogging world and you won't want to miss the great posts to come!" the 17-year-old recently wrote on her blog.
