The Magic head into Monday evening's game as the no 3 team in the Southeast Atlantic Conference of the Division regular season with 14 wins and 29 losses. According to Bleacher Report columnist Ethan Sherwood, "The Orlando Magic can't stop losing, having dropped five in a row. When I watch, it feels as though Glen Davis' return helps the cause, but it just hasn't coincided with winning... that the Magic can't profit from this run speaks to some bad luck and poor overall talent. In any event, Orlando has lost five in a row." Orlando snags the overall no 29 spot in the NBA 2012-2013 regular season this week. The Nets rank no 2 in the Eastern Central Conference with 26 wins and 18 losses (snagging the no 10 spot out of 30 teams). Sherwood points out, "Brooklyn's defense has overperformed its construction, and Brook Lopez's shot-blocking is part of that. But the fissures are starting to form. This defense is in trouble and puts the team at risk for a playoff exit in any round."
