Kim Kardashian, Hillary Clinton, Kanye West Instagram Selfie [PHOTO] Sparks Negative Comments

Negative comments came in response to Kim Kardashian's selfie posted on Instagram with presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and husband Kanye West. The sex tape sensation and heiress extraordinaire normally doesn't associate herself nor make statements regarding political issues, but Billboard reports, "Kardashian attended talent manager Scooter Braun's campaign party for the 2016 presidential candidate Thursday (Aug. 6), along with husband Kanye West and a slew of other A-list celebrities including John Travolta and Usher. On her way to the party, Kardashian posted an individual selfie to share her excitement for the event, adding 'Maybe she'll take a selfie with me!' in the caption."

The photo generated nothing but catty comments involving the two very powerful and influential women together. One particular comment after the article, from a William Hoffman, said, "What do you know? Three of the most defective people on Earth in the same photo! Do you think Kanye ever heard of Bengazi? I know, don't be silly!" the Inquisitr notes.

This isn't the best news for Clinton's campaign, nor was it necessarily the best celebrity for Clinton to pose with. Clinton's favorability is at an 11 and her American public viewing has gone down to 40 percent.

ABC News reports, "While both Kim and Kanye have accomplished a lot and often use their celebrity status for good causes, they still remain two of the most hated figures in America. Let's hope the picture doesn't [a]ffect Hillary Clinton's already dwindling poll numbers."

This is quite true and it is clearly seen as an attempt to gain popularity when her numbers aren't doing so well. Maybe our Democratic presidential candidate was desperate and hoping to reach an entirely new demographic by not only posing in a selfie, but posing with two controversial figures, and then allowing it to post to Instagram amongst photos of Kardashian's other collection of selfies including duck-lipped, cleavage-baring ridiculousness.
