'Downton Abbey' Season 6 Spoilers, News: Michelle Dockery Finishes Filming Lady Mary Scenes

The sixth and final season of the ever successful TV series Downton Abbey is filming now, but some members of the cast are wrapping up and saying goodbye. Michelle Dockery "who plays widow Lady Mary Crawley, shared a few photos on Instagram and reflected on the past six 'glorious years' she has spent with the Downton family," Yahoo! News reports. Does this early wrap news mean anything for those searching for spoilers?

Back in March, it was announced that this would be the last season and according to Dockery's photos it has been a truly amazing experience and a wonderful group of cast and crew to work with. Dockery, who is best known for her role on the show, poses with the two twin boys, Zac and Oliver Barker, who play her on-screen son George. She also had a photo taken with one of the show's directors, Dave Evans, and there were even some behind-the-scenes emotional photos like the one she had taken with Elizabeth McGovern. The two women are pictured hugging and the hashtags below the photo are #tears #tears #tears and #lastdayofDownton.

This isn't where it ends for Dockery, though, The Hollywood Reporter via Yahoo! News reports, "In an announcement made Friday it was revealed that Michelle Dockery had joined the cast of The Sense of an Ending, the film adaptation of Julian Barnes' award-winning 2011 novel being directed by The Lunchbox helmer Ritesh Batra and adapted for screen by Nick Payne. The film was first announced in March as part of a new slate from BBC films."

Dockery will have a lot to look forward to in the near future and even though the show is over, there are rumors that a Downton Abbey movie might be in development in the future. We will just have to wait and see for that official announcement once the hype of the last season dies down.
