Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Divorce, Marriage Troubles Movie 'By the Sea' Trailer [WATCH]

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Pitt are starring alongside one another for the first time in 10 years in Jolie Pitt's third directorial role, By the Sea. The film hits on some tough issues like marriage troubles, abuse and possibly even divorce, so make sure to watch the movie's first trailer below!

Jolie Pitt has explained that not only has she truly grown to respect her husband's creative process, but that it was also very difficult for her to direct their fight scenes in the movie.As for the specific plot of the film, People reports, "the trailer depicts scenes of marital strife, including physical altercations. The intensity of the trailer is juxtaposed with Harry Nilsson's haunting track "Perfect Day." The film is following a married couple Roland (Pitt) and Vanessa (Jolie Pitt) "sulking through a vacation at a picturesque French resort in the 1970s...there's very little dialogue, but there is a lot of high melodrama - and enough smoking to make you cough. In other words, it all feels appropriately European," Yahoo! News reports. The film looks a bit frightening and depressing and the idea that Jolie and Pitt could work so well together with such troublesome marital subject matter. Angelina also mentioned that the film is about recovery and acceptance and that working with this particular cast and crew has been particularly enjoyable.

Brad and Angelina were married in France last year and now are shooting the movie in the Mediterranean with their six children in tow, referring to it as "a very unconventional honeymoon" seeing as it is almost their one-year anniversary. The film will mark Jolie Pitt's next directorial role following Unbroken, released last year. It is clear that she isn't only growing as a talent, but that her and Pitt and continue a very fun and successful professional relationship as well. This will also be the first time that Jolie Pitt will be attaching Pitt's name to end of her previously used "Angelina Jolie."
