The August 12, 2015 edition of WWE's NXT will feature Bayley's continued quest for the NXT Women's Championship, which will likely culminate at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn in less than two weeks at the Barclays Center.

Bayley is taking the full Sami Zayn route by not only climbing the ranks for a shot at the title, but showing that she is determined to prove herself against old rivals before finally takes on Sasha Banks. Last week, she finally overcame Charlotte, whom she had never beaten. She then went to General Manager William Regal's office and asked him for a match with the champion at Takeover: Brooklyn. Regal said she could have her match if she defeats Becky Lynch this week.

So tonight we have Bayley vs. Bex in a No. 1 Contender's Match. With Lynch occupied on the main roster, Bayley is almost a sure thing to win this match. Plus, it continues her whole "road to the top" story that WWE has been pushing for several weeks now. She's also likely to take the belt from Sasha at Takeover, as the Boss is also up on the main roster doing her thing. Look forward to a great match tonight and in 10 days.

Finn Balor and Kevin Owens are on a collision course at Takeover: Brooklyn for the NXT Championship, yet both men have been conspicuously absent for the past several weeks save for a few sit-down interviews here and there. Owens has been occupied on the main roster with John Cena and Cesaro, while Balor has been seemingly biding his time because he has no one else with whom to feud. Will we see more of either man tonight to help build their rematch?

Furthermore, Owens has been walking around complaining that Regal has it out for him, so will he get in the General Manager's face at all tonight?

Tyler Breeze had been asking for a high-profile match at Takeover, and he got his wish in the form of Jushin "Thunder" Liger. Liger obviously won't appear until the pay-per-view, so will Breeze cut a promo on his opponent tonight?

The tag team division is crowded right now, so who will emerge to get a shot at Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy for the titles? And will Alexa Bliss continue to be a thorn in the side of their opponents?

As always, check back with MStars immediately after the show for a full recap of all the action. But for now, let us know your thoughts, guesses, predictions, and opinions for tonight's show in the comments section.

In case you missed it, here are the results of last week's episode.

The episode begins with the much-anticipated match between Charlotte and Bayley. The Hugster finally vanquishes her longtime rival when Charlotte tries for Natural Selection off the top rope, and Bayley reverses it into a Bayley to Belly for the win.

Kevin Owens sits down for an interview with Michael Cole and expresses his displeasure that William Regal, a man in a position of authority, has publicly stated he wants Finn Balor to beat him at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn. To prevent a "Brooklyn Screwjob," Owens wants this to be a ladder match. Cole asks Owens if he can beat Balor, and Owens walks away.

Baron Corbin squashes some local enhancement talent in mere seconds with the End of Days.

Bayley enters Regal's office and asks for an NXT Women's Championship match with Sasha Banks at Takeover: Brooklyn. The General Manager says she can have her match if she defeats Becky Lynch next week.

Tyler Breeze squashes a different local enhancement talent with the Beauty Shot. Regal comes down to the ring after the match and announces that Breeze will face Jushin "Thunder" Liger at Takeover: Brooklyn.

Finn Balor is backstage with Byron Saxton and says he and Owens used to be friends, but he cannot respect what Owens has done since he got to WWE. He says Sami Zayn warned him not to underestimate Owens, and he accepts the ladder match challenge.

Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder defeat Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson with the tag team Rough Ryder. After the match, Wilder and Dawson attack Rawley and hit their finisher on Ryder.

Samoa Joe defeats Rhyno with the Muscle Buster in the main event.
