In an Interview with Vlad TV, Vindicated author, Karrine Steffans says Drake help ghostwrite YMCMB label mate, Lil Wayne's lyrics to help him tell stories better in his music.

The beauty jumped in the ghostwriting fiasco after Meek Mill and Drake's beef opened up a can of worms in the Hip Hop industry. She explained that she witnessed artist using other writers to help them stay current and help them switch up their flows often.

"Drake -I know- wrote his stuff to a certain degree- whatever that degree was, I never been in the studio with him, but I know he was writing for Wayne as well. Because Wayne was looking to change something. I know he was re-writing things. I know Wayne told me that he was teaching him how to tell better stories, how to ride the beat differently." She continued, "Because Wayne always rides a beat a certain way while Drake rides it another way. So, the student was becoming the teacher and was kind of teaching him to do something a little bit different because things had gotten stagnated for a while. A lot of artist help each other out that way. They write things for each other, they collaborate on things."

The former video vixen recalled being in the studio with the rap star while listening to Drake's sample verse for the New Orleans native and later hearing his version, "Wayne told me that Drake had written some things for him and I was in the studio with Wayne listening to something that Drake had written because Wayne can't write like that and he'll be honest about it. He only writes a certain way."

She explained that he only used the OVO star to help him write story telling songs since he was only use to writing about sex, money and weed, "I don't write that way. I don't know how so Drake was kind of showing him kind of take those ideas and turn them into a story and make that story come back around."
