Singer Ciara opens up about Future's problem with Russell Wilson's relationship with their 1-year-old son, Future Zahir.

During an interview with CBS, the singer dished about the backlash she received after Future slammed her for letting her new boyfriend close to their son, "It's been interesting to hear about what a lot of guys have had to say. I feel like in a sense it's a bit of a double standard. At one point in time when we were together. I took care of his kids as well at a very young time in our relationship." She explained, "But I really was involved very early in the stage of us getting to know each other, and that's been a big conversation. It's kind of like, what's the difference here?"

She explained that Russell has love for their son and has tried to connect the rapper and NFL star to discuss some of their issues, "I think for the men that were out spoken. Wouldn't you want someone to love your child or love the child that you're speaking about? More than anything it is a child that we're talking about. I think people have to think about. Remove the adults from the situation. This is my child here."

She added, "I did reach out to my son's father you know for him and Russell to speak and he didn't want to talk to me. You know we didn't get to talk. That was that. I don't know what more they would expect me to do than just to love my life."

In an interview with The Breakfast Club, Future was asked if he posted a football and gun emoji to threaten the NFL star via Instagram, which he denied and said the fake account almost got him in legal trouble with his baby mama.

"She even thought it was real. Had lawyers calling me. It got serious." He explained, "Of course I don't want somebody pushing my son, like that's the number one rule. If I was a kid and my momma had a dude pushing me, I would jumped out of the stroller and slapped the sh*t out of her." He said abiding by hood rules, "You never do that in our community."

The rapper believes the "I Bet" singer set up the quarterback for publicity shots saying, "You got nannies, you got assistants around you. Anybody could've pushed the stroller. You letting people catch that photo. At the end of the day, I'm not here for publicity stunts, leave my son out of all the publicity stunts, just leave him out of your relationship. We don't need your relationship for anything. I can take care of him on my own."
