Beyonce recently admitted that she did indeed lip-sync at the 2013 Presidential Inauguration last month... but she quickly quieted all the haters by busting out a phenomenal rendition of the National Anthem ("Star-Spangled Banner") at a recent Super Bowl press conference. Check out the Grammy Award winner's stunning New Orleans performance below.

Following her impromptu (LIVE) performance in front of a slew of skeptical reporters on Thursday (Jan. 31), Beyonce grinned and asked the crowd, "Any questions?" In response, the audience erupted in applause.

Take that.

It looks like the "Crazy in Love" songstress' controversial lip-syncing days are finally in the past (as long as she puts on an impressive Super Bowl show Sunday evening (Feb. 3)... without the use of pre-recorded material).

Beyonce then confronted the press gathered at the New Orleans Convention Center, claiming that she just wasn't prepared to sing the day of President Obama's inauguration - "I am a perfectionist... I did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra for a live television show and a very very important emotional show for me one of my proudest moments... I did not feel comfortable taking a risk. It was about the president and the inauguration and I wanted to make him and our country proud so I decided to sing along with my prerecorded track. I'm very proud of my performance."

Here's Beyonce's pre-recorded track (live) performance in Washington, DC... do fans think she sounds better live, anyway?

Beyonce is next up to perform a stellar half-time show at the 47th annual Super Bowl game. Be sure to check it out this Sunday night (Feb. 3) as the San Francisco 49ers take on the Baltimore Ravens in New Orleans.
