Eric Clapton Latest Album ‘Old Sock’ Unveiled: Track List and Date Released By Rock Legend

Rock and guitar legend, Eric Clapton has announced his twenty-first album, "Old Sock" that is slated for March 12 release.

Clapton also relvealed that his new album will have star guests, Ultimateclassicrock reported. This album will include some of his favorite songs. "From Leadbelly to J.J. Cale; Peter Tosh to George Gershwin; Hank Snow to Gary Moore and Taj Mahal, this record is a celebration of so many who have inspired Clapton's rich musical life" says his website.

The album will have his usual collaborators like Steve Gadd (drums), Willie Weeks (bass) and Chris Stainton (keyboards). There will be some surprise star additions. The song "Angel" will have JJ Cale as backing vocals and on guitar, while Chaka Khan will be the backing vocalist for "Get On Over," Clapton's old partner in Blind Faith, Steve Winwood will be on his Hammond B3 Organ for "Still Got The Blues," Beatles star, Sir Paul McCartney will be on bass and vocals for "All of Me" and for the track "Our Love is Here To Stay" Jim Keltner will be on the drums, according to Ericclapton.com

The album will have two original songs ("Every Little" and "Gotta Get Over") and ten cover songs. Bushbranch Records label, Clapton's own label will release the album. The 67-year-old singer-songwriter and guitarist will be touring U.S. starting March 14 and the tour will end with the Crossroads Guitar Festival at New York's Madison Square Garden, April 12-13.
