Kristen Stewart 'Twilight' Reboots, Movies: 2015 Comedy 'American Ultra' in Theaters Now!

While promoting her new 2015 comedy, American Ultra, actress Kristen Stewart recently answered some questions about the Twilight reboots, what it was like being back on the red carpet and why she makes movies in the first place.

When addressing Twilight and about the rumors about them getting rebooted, Stewart said to Uproxx, "I was so genuinely, heavily entrenched in that, and not in a way that felt like an obligation. Even though after the first one, which stood alone, it lasted a long time. It's hard to speak to a five-year period in a few sentences, but I loved doing it. But that doesn't mean I want to keep doing it. But if other people? Yeah, sure. To be honest with you: I would be interested. I'd be kind of fascinated, but it wouldn't emotionally affect me one way or the other."

The Twilight franchise was a big part of the actress's life. She is moving on and has appeared in other films during and since Twilight wrapped with Breaking Dawn: Part 2.

It's obvious that Twilight would come up regardless, considering the success of Stephenie Meyer's books and the films, but Stewart was actually promoting her recently released film American Ultra along with costar Jesse Eisenberg. This is the first time the two have worked together since their cult classic Adventureland (2009). Eisenberg says when addressing any of the flack that Stewart has received, "Anyone who works with Kristen or who makes movies or has an understanding of how they're done thinks she's one of the greatest actresses right now. People who write mean things are on the outside," he told E! News. In American Ultra, "Eisenberg and Stewart play Mike and Phoebe, two pot-loving human beings who must cope with adversity after Mike discovers that he's a secret government agent and is being hunted by bureaucrats who want him dead," Uproxx says.

Stewart had also appeared on the red carpet for the first time with Taylor Lautner since they worked together on Twilight in 2012. Us Weekly reports, "Stewart and Lautner spent five years together on the Twilight set with stars like Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz and, of course, Robert Pattinson, who dated Stewart from 2010 to 2013, and played the star's on-screen love in the blockbuster movies."

Stewart is continuing to work, and work often. It'll be interesting to see what all she is going to continue to accomplish.
