Penelope Cruz Pregnant, Expecting Second Child with Husband Javier Bardem: Starlet's Sister Monica also Pregnant Via Sperm Donor

Congrats to actress Penelope Cruz and her husband Javier Bardem - reports confirm that the couple is expecting their second child together! The New York Post's "Page Six" broke the big baby news early Friday (Feb. 1), and reps have since confirmed to Us Weekly that the 38-year-old Spanish actress is indeed pregnant with her second child. This means that the "Blow" starlet and her younger sister Monica Cruz will get to celebrate their pregnancies together, at least for a few months! Monica announced earlier this year that she is also expecting a child via sperm donor.

Cruz and Academy Award winner Bardem tied the knot in July 2010 in a private ceremony at a friend's home in the Bahamas. They had their first child together (a baby boy) in January 2011.

In the June 2011 issue of Vogue, Cruz discussed how much she loved motherhood - "From the first second, you feel so much love. It is a revolutionary experience. That's the best way I can describe it. It transforms you completely, in a second. Nature is very wise and gives you nine months to prepare, but in that moment, when you see that face, you are transformed forever."

Meanwhile, Cruz's younger sister Monica is currently expecting her first child, which she conceived through an anonymous sperm donor. The Agent Provocateur model wrote on her blog for the Spanish newspaper El Pais in early January - "I'm going to be a mother! I have managed to fulfill the dream of a lifetime. Because of that, I want to share with all of you this special journey and be able to tell you about all of my experiences during this fascinating time..."
