Cleveland currently has a steady 56 wins and 64 losses and still remains 5th in the American League Central Division. The Indians managed a Game 1 win against the Yanks on Thursday night with a score of 3-2.

Yankees (5): "After getting thumped handily by the Blue Jays two weekends ago and then losing two straight to the Indians last week, the Yankees found themselves suddenly out of first place. Two impressive wins over the Blue Jays this past weekend returned the Yanks back atop the AL East." Jason Rosenberg, It's About the Money 

With that, New York holds an impressive 67-53 winning record and maintains the 1st spot in the American League Eastern Division. The Yanks swept their recent series against the Minnesota Twins earlier this week.
