For the first three seasons of Arrow, the setting had been called Starling City in a slight departure from the comics. But now, in Season 4, Oliver Queen's home will officially be called Star City. [SPOILERS to Follow]

At San Diego Comic-Con 2015, Stephen Amell cut a WWE-style promo for the crowd in attendance in which he wore his full costume and referred to himself as the Green Arrow. In the speech, he also referred to his home as "Star City."

But now, Paul Blackthorne, who plays Captain Quentin Lance on the series, posted the photo below which shows that the city has been officially renamed. His badge now reads "Star City Metro Police." And let's have a chuckle at costar David Ramsey holding a gun of his own in the photo.

It's clear the show is moving more toward its comic book roots. The hero is now called the Green Arrow, likely a response, at least in part, to the way Ra's al Ghul revealed the Arrow's identity and made him a public enemy. If Oliver Queen is going to come back, then he needs to be someone else. He needs to be something else.

Furthermore, the show has hinted at "Star City" before. In the Season 3 premiere, Oliver and Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) made presentations to the board of Queen Industries to take over as its leader. And in his presentation, Ray suggested using the company to rebrand the entire town as Star City.

So Arrow is inching closer to the Green Arrow of the comic books. We may even see Ollie smile or crack a joke every now and then. But will we see Oliver sport a goatee? That remains to be seen.

What do you think of this change on Arrow? Would you like to see the show make some more adjustments to bring the show closer to the source comic books? Do you want the show to have a lighter tone, or should it keep its darker and grittier feel? Let us know your thoughts about all of this in the comments section.
