Obama Gun Photo: White House Release Skeet Shooting Pics Of President

The Barack Obama administration decided to put rumors to rest of whether or not he has gone skeet shooting "all the time," and the White House have released photographic evidence of the president with a firearm in his hand firing at clay objects.

Obama has shown sympathy for hunters as he pushed fork tighter gun laws after the Newtown school shooting massacre, and explained that he had gone skeet shooting often on the presidential shooting range in Maryland. White House officials finally released a photo of Obama from his retreat to Camp David August 4, 2012.

Obama's senior adviser, Dan Pfeiffer tweeted with a link of the photo, "For all the 'skeeters'. The President was wearing jeans, glasses, and noise mufflers with his smoking gun in his hand in a target shot position.

In the New Republic interview, Obama was asked if he had ever fired a gun, he replied, "Yes, in fact, up at Camp David, we do skeet shooting all the time," Obama said.

"The whole family?" he was asked.

"Not the girls, but oftentimes guests of mine go up there. And I have a profound respect for the traditions of hunting that trace back in this country for generations. And I think those who dismiss that out of hand make a big mistake."
