Kristen Stewart vs. Elizabeth Olsen New Hollywood Award Beef: Robert Pattinson 'Life' Honor

Robert Pattinson's having a wonderful year so far. The 29-year-old British actor continues starring in several hit films, and even got engaged (and will likely soon marry) stunning English songstress, FKA Twigs. So, what's next for the former "Twilight" heartthrob?

Well, reports now confirm that Pattinson will receive the prestigious New Hollywood Award at the Deauville American Film Festival next month. What an honor! The 41st annual event will be held from September 4-13, and of course Pattinson is expected to attend. Get more information on the official website.

According to GossipCop.com, the star's latest movie "Life" will also be screened during the Festival. Pattinson plays Dennis Stock in director Anton Corbijn's highly-anticipated drama inspired by the celebrity photographer's relationship with cultural icon, James Dean.

Stunning 26-year-old actress Elizabeth Olsen will also be honored with the same award. Other big-name attendees already include Jake Gyllenhaal, Keira Knightley, Josh Brolin, Orlando Bloom, Ian McKellen, Patricia Clarkson, and Keanu Reeves.

Pattinson and ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart are both on a role - the gorgeous Chanel spokeswoman's new stoner flick "American Ultra" hit theaters over the weekend to rave reviews:

Stewart's also received a slew of respectable awards over the past few years, but none by New Hollywood. To make things even more awkward, will the former on-and-offscreen lovers experience an unexpected reunion at the Venice Film Festival later this month?
