Hilary Duff, Lizzie McGuire Instagram Tribute with Adorable Throwback Pic [PHOTO]

Are you ready to get your daily dose of 90's nostalgia on? Well break out those butterfly clips, stretch out that choker necklace and dust of your favorite overalls because we are taking things back to the good old Lizzie McGuire days. Hilary Duff channeled her former Disney character by posting probably the greatest throwback picture of all time over the weekend. The Breathe In, Breathe Out singer threw on a nearly identical pair of overalls to Lizzie, while stepping out, and thankfully provided fans with a side-by-side comparison on her Instagram of the two almost identical outfits.

The star took to the social media account to post the adorable pic, including three hasthtags along with the picture, "#Lizzie, #ovies, #nobigthang."

The 27-year-old singer and actress rocked her updated acid washed, distressed denim overalls so well that we are definitely thinking of bringing it back to our elementary school days and grabbing a pair next time we are out. The Younger star's wavy locks and black tank underneath really brought the look together.

Her fans couldn't help but give props to Lizzie for posting this, writing, things like, "THIS IS WHAT DREAMS ARE MADE OFFF," "This is the best thing I've ever seen," and "Could not be any more obsessed with this pic."

Us Weekly also posted about Hilary's fashion decision, saying that the only thing that would have made the post better would be the animated Lizzie from the TV series weighing in on the photo.

We wonder if Duff donned any other signature Lizzie outfits at Taylor Swift's show over the weekend in Los Angeles. According to Entertainment Weekly, Duff wasn't the only stars present; Uzo Aduba, Chris Rock, Matt LeBlanc and Mary J. Blige were also in attendance for the 1989 Tour.
