Harry Styles celebrated his 19th birthday on Feb. 1 by going out to a London nightclub with friends and getting a lap dance by an exotic dancer, Gossipcop reported along with photos of the celebration.

The One Direction singer was spotted at The Alibi Club with band mate Niall Horan and others, and during the festivities, Styles enjoyed a lap dance - a gift from his DJ friend Nick "Grimmy" Grinshaw, who led the singer to believe he was awaiting the arrival of a birthday cake.

"It was great," Styles was quoted as saying about the prank, the gossip website reported. "I was in stitches."

"[Nick] started telling everyone to be quiet but I could see the cake in the kitchen and the candles weren't lit, so I was like, 'What's going on?'" Styles said. "Then Grimmy said, 'Someone in here is under-age' and I saw a police hat bobbing through the crowd. I was like, 'Oh no!'

The officer than turned out to be a stripper in disguise and when she began her dance routine, Styles said he had never "seen my manager run so quick to cover the CCTV cameras but the pictures got out anyway."

Photos were shared via Twitter of Styles - wearing a blue buttoned-down heart-print shirt from Burberry's Fall/Winter 2013 collection - getting a lap dance by a lingerie-wearing performer.

"She stripped down to her underwear but unfortunately there was a no-nudity policy in the bar," Styles recanted. "She didn't handcuff me but the funniest part was that when she finished she said, 'I'm really sorry I couldn't find my truncheon so I had to bring my nunchucks'. That was a bit weird."

Styles added that following the performance, a guy from his group of friends came up to him and said, "I went to college with her!"

Styles held an earlier birthday celebration at London's Groucho Club with friends, including his ex-girlfriend Caroline Flack.
