Christina Milian Instagram Heartbreak: Baby Nephew Dead After Birth, No Lil Wayne Support?

Christina Milian is very close with her two sisters, Danielle and Elizabeth Flores. Unfortunately, the middle "Turned Up" beauty (Danielle) learned that her unborn son was diagnosed with a life-threatening condition called omphalocele back in March. The celebrity hairstylist welcomed her baby boy on Wednesday (August 26), but he tragically died shortly after the birth.

Flores initially remained positive on Instagram, asking for fans to send their well wishes:

But Flores suffered major heartbreak just a few hours later:

Yesterday I was blessed with the birth of my Richie Bear. Unfortunately, last night he took his place with the Lord and we said goodbye. I so appreciate the prayers and support from everyone. Loyal followers continue offering their condolences.

Flores revealed her family's struggles to US Weekly a few months ago:

"The tech said, 'I can't see the sex... because I am seeing... intestines.' [My] son's stomach, gallbladder, spleen, and liver could be seen outside his torso... I was told there's almost a 53 percent chance of mortality."

Doctors recommended that Flores immediately terminate the pregnancy, but she refused:

"I said to [husband Richard], 'Could you live with this?' Because I know can. I know I could be in a hospital every day. As a mother, I will do whatever it takes for my child... No matter how long he has in this world, I could not imagine taking his chance away."

Milian also shared this emotional update:

The last 24 hours have been an emotional roller coaster but i'd like to thank everyone for being so supportive throughout my sister Danielle & Richards pregnancy. The both of them have shown the true measure of courage and faith for the last 9 months and I can't praise them more. Our family was blessed to have met our little Angel Baby Richie. We were fighting for him and with him the whole way and are now coping with the direction in which fate took. I ask that you keep him and our entire family in your prayers-- Especially Danielle, Richard, Naomi & Dj and know that we've all been touched by our little Guardian Angel. His memory will forever live on in our thoughts and our hearts. May he now rest in peace in the arms of our Heavenly Father. stay blessed.
