Highly-anticipated season nine of "The Voice" officially premieres on September 21 (2015). Again, No Doubt rocker Gwen Stefani will join fellow coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams. A slew of big-name mentors were already announced, including John Fogerty, Brad Paisley, Missy Elliott, Selena Gomez, and finally supreme Key Advisor, Rihanna. But will the "FourFiveSeconds" songstress' fame and influence cause any drama with 45-year-old Stefani? Think Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey from those bitter "American Idol" days...

According to the seedy gossip tabloid National Inquirer, the "Bubble Pop Electric" superstar still holds a major grudge agains RiRi that started way back in 2011. At the time, Stefani insisted that she was different from the 27-year-old Barbadian beauty "because I usually put pants on." The "BBHMM" BadGal never actually responded, but according to an alleged insider:

"Rihanna's the type to hold a grudge and thought Gwen was way out of line."

And now the ladies are finally ready to face-off (on camera)!

"Gwen's convinced Rihanna's being paid way too much and that she'll throw herself around on the show and expect to be queen bee," the snitch reveals. "[She's] not going to sit back and let that happen."

Really?

First off, RiRi won't be "bossing around" Stefani. That's not how the show works. They probably won't even work too closely together, so why should they bother fighting?

Another "legit" source for GossipCop insists that such "rivalry" rumors are completely untrue. But do MstarsNews readers think such cattiness might actually make things more exciting?
