Who better to give marriage advice on cheating than someone who went through the same situation? Kristen Taekman has found herself in the middle of a cheating controversy following the news that her husband Josh Taekman had an account on the Ashley Madison cheating site. However, following his confession it looks like the Real Housewives of New York City (RHONY) star has found herself a shoulder to cry on. The RHONY actress has turned to her new buddy Tori Spelling to help her get through this rough time. After all, Tori had her fair share of issues with her husband Dean.

According to Radar Online, the gals were spotted hanging out in Los Angeles earlier this week where they were getting their fitness on, as a way to take their minds off the controversy.

"They met last year at an event in New York City, and became friends," an insider explained to the news site. "Tori went through a very public scandal when her husband, Dean, cheating on her, so she's been there."

As for what Spelling told Taekman to do in her current situation, she explained that Taekman needs to figure out what is best for her family, according to The Inquistr.

"Tori told Kristen to take the time and figure out what the best decision is for her and her kids," an insider explained. "Even though Josh has only admitted to having an account on Ashley Madison, Kristen of course has doubts. Tori advised Kristen to carry on in public as she always does, and to never let the press get and unflattering picture."

Josh previously explained to PEOPLE his intentions for being a part of the site, saying, "I signed up for the site foolishly and ignorantly with a group of friends and deeply apologize for any embarrassment or pain I have brought my wife and family."
