What happened on live television at the VMAs was real, if you ask MTV. The network is confirming that the beef between Nicki Minaj, and Miley Cyrus wasn't scripted but 100% real, and it looks like Meek Mill's girlfriend isn't apologizing about her outburst anytime soon.

According to VH1, an MTV spokesperson revealed that the ladies exchange of words weren't read off of the teleprompter but from their own minds.

If you missed it, Minaj went up and accepted the the Best Hip Hop award where she called out Cyrus at the end of her speech.

After thanking her pastor, Minaj went from 0 to 100 and changed her entire demeanor.

She turned her head and directed her next comment at the VMAs host, and said: "And now back to this b*tch that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press....Miley, what's good?" Minaj said looking like an "Anaconda" was angrily unleashed.

Cyrus stayed calm and replied to the singer, "We're all in this industry, we all do interviews, and we all know how they manipulate sh*t."

Cyrus congratulated Minaj and turned right back to the scripted program after the shocking off-script conversation ended with Minaj pointing her finger and calling the host a "b*tch."

MStars News learned that Cyrus made some not so pleasant comments about Meek Mill's lady in an interview with The New York Times last week.

Cyrus was asked about Minaj's Twitter beef with Taylor Swift that occurred earlier this summer. Cyrus stated: "What I read sounded very Nicki Minaj, which, if you know Nicki Minaj is not too kind," she continued, "It’s not very polite. I think there’s a way you speak to people with openness and love. You don’t have to start this pop star against pop star war... I know you can make it seem like, Oh I just don’t understand because I’m a white pop star. I know the statistics. I know what’s going on in the world. But to be honest, I don’t think MTV did that on purpose."

At least Minaj and Swift's "Bad Blood" is squashed. MStars News hopes that Minaj and Cyrus' will be too.

So far Minaj has remained mute and not said one word about her outburst during the VMAs. In the Instagram photo below, the rapper congratulated Kanye West on his award and wrote: "Congrats big bro. Loved what Big Sean said about Kanye putting him on. Never miss those opportunities to tell a person how thankful you are for how they helped change your life. Being grateful only opens up more and more doors."

She also contributed a post to her former "Bad Blood" singer, Swift and wrote: "Love the conversations I have with this girl behind the scenes. So glad we got to perform together."

Hopefully Cyrus and Minaj can hash out their beef on stage and also perform together in the future. MStars News wants to know, do you think these two ladies should make up, too?
