The August 31, 2015 episode of WWE's Monday Night Raw emanates live from the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida and sets up Seth Rollins vs. John Cena at Night of Champions on September 20. We've got the full results below, so let's get to it.

Sting opens the show with a promo. He says that his first match in WWE was against Triple H, and he respects him after their bout at WrestleMania 31. But now, he has targeted Rollins, who is not half the man Triple H is. He has held onto the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in cowardly ways, yet he is delusional enough to think he belongs among the legends.

Sting has done it all in his career, but he has never won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. At Night of Champions, he writes the final chapter in his story.

Backstage, Rollins is irate at Sting's remarks. Stephanie McMahon says beating Sting would cement his legacy, and she shocks him by agreeing with The Icon that Rollins is no Triple H, at least not yet. Rollins asks about his statue again, and Stephanie tells him to ask Sting.

Dolph Ziggler defeats Rusev by DQ when Summer Rae attacks The Show Off following a Zig Zag. Lana attacks Ziggler and a fight breaks out. Ziggler pulls her away and the two kiss on the ramp.

Backstage, Ziggler and Lana are talking when Renee Young comes up and interviews them. Ziggler says this doesn't count as a win over Rusev, and this isn't over yet. Ziggler hits the showers, and as Renee runs down what's to come tonight, Summer Rae slips into his locker room.

Becky Lynch defeats Alicia Fox by submission with the Disarmer in the first match of the Beat the Clock Challenge with a time of 3:21.

Backstage, Rich Brennan interviews Ryback about his Intercontinental Championship defense tonight against The Big Show. Ryback says this has been in the works for a while and says the title means everything to him, and no one has been able to take it from him yet. Not even a staph infection could stop him.

As Ryback speaks, the camera pans to Summer Rae sprinting out of Ziggler's locker room. The Show Off comes out in a towel looking flustered.

Ryback defeats Big Show to retain the Intercontinental Championship when The Miz, who was on commentary, distracts Show, which allows The Big Guy to hit the Shell Shock.

Charlotte defeats Brie Bella in the second match of the Beat the Clock Challenge with Natural Selection in 1:40.

Renee Young interviews The Dudley Boyz backstage, and Bubba Ray Dudley says they are back in WWE to put every single person through a table and to become 10-time WWE Tag Team Champions.

Kevin Owens defeats Cesaro in the best match of the night. Owens knocks Cesaro off the apron into the announce table, which damages his ribs. Cesaro tries to pull off the Neutralizer but can't lift Owens because of the injury, and Owens capitalizes with a superkick to the ribs and the Pop-Up Powerbomb for the pin.

Dolph Ziggler and Lana are backstage and Ziggler tries to explain what happened. He says Summer Rae came into his locker room while he showered, and he immediately grabbed a towel and chased her away. Lana, upset, leaves.

Bray Wyatt enters the ring with The Wyatt Family and gives thanks to Sister Abigail for bestowing the first of Braun Strowman unto them. Strowman says this isn't the beginning. It's the end, the apocalypse. Dean Ambrose comes out for the match, and Roman Reigns comes down to back him up.

Strowman completely manhandles Ambrose throughout the match. Eventually, Reigns interjects himself, which gives Strowman the win by DQ. After the bell, the big man demolishes Ambrose and Reigns, and Wyatt adds the exclamation point with a Sister Abigail to Reigns.

Renee Young interviews Seth Rollins backstage, and the dual champion says he will head to the ring later to confront Sting and get his statue. She asks about Sting's remarks about Triple H, and Rollins says Sting should subscribe to the WWE Network so he can see how dominate Rollins really is.

Paige is unable to defeat Sasha Banks in 1:40, though she hits the Rampaige with just enough time left for the pin. But Naomi and Tamina Snuka pull Sasha out of the ring to prevent the pin. This means Charlotte is the No. 1 Contender to the Divas Championship. Team Bella comes out and stares down Charlotte from the stage.

Renee Young interviews Lana and shows her an interview with Summer Rae during the commercial in which she describes how Ziggler made advances on her in the locker room. Lana starts to cry and leaves.

The New Day comes out and talks about The Dudley Boyz and their lack of respect for furniture. They reveal their special bubble-wrapped table and start a "Save the Tables" chant.

But it's all for naught, as The Dudley Boyz, who compete in their first Raw match in 10 years, win with the 3D on Kofi Kingston. The Prime Time Players were on commentary for this match. After the bell, The Dudley Boyz try to 3D Big E through the table, but the rest of The New Day pulls him out of the ring.

Seth Rollins comes out and said he never had a problem with Sting until last week. He does his usual Rollins promo stuff until he calls out The Icon. Instead, Stephanie McMahon comes out and tells him he needs to stop comparing himself to Triple H. Rollins compares himself to Hunter and Ric Flair in Evolution. Triple H was the man then, but Rollins is the man now. He calls Sting out again.

This time, John Cena comes out and says Rollins is an expendable tool of The Authority. To prove that, he's going to make Stephanie McMahon say something that will make Rollins' life miserable. Cena points out that, by The Authority's own rules, every title must be defended at Night of Champions, and now Rollins has two belts. So he invokes his rematch clause for the WWE United States Championship. Cena asks Steph if he has the match, and she reluctantly says yes.

Cena happily exits the ring as Rollins throws a fit and complains to Stephanie. Sting's music hits, and both he and Cena stare down Rollins, who now has two title defenses at Night of Champions, as the show goes off the air.
