The Season 4 premiere of the CW's Arrow does not arrive until Wednesday, October 7, but discussion continues about the possibility of Green Lantern's showing up in Star City. Another hint has now been dropped that points toward the superhero.

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim posted a piece of production art on his official Twitter, which you can view here. The postcard from Coast City, the hometown of the Green Lantern, reads:

"In brightest day

In blackest night

Come to Coast City

When money's tight"

This is of course a play on the Green Lantern's mantra: "In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might beware my power, Green Lantern's light!"

Arrow and The Flash have made numerous references to Coast City and the Green Lantern in Season 3 and Season 1, respectively.

Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) ended Season 3 of Arrow by driving off, appropriately, along the coast with Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), presumably toward Coast City. In the flashbacks, Oliver left Hong Kong and got on a boat specifically marked for Coast City, which is where the Season 4 flashbacks will begin.

Toward the end of Season 1 of The Flash, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) mentioned that a test pilot from Ferris Air has gone missing. This is another clear reference to the Green Lantern, though the show did not follow up on this before the season finale.

Do you think Green Lantern will show up at all in Season 4 of Arrow, despite the claims of the show's producers that the character will be absent? If so, how would you like him to appear? Should it be Hal Jordan or John Stewart? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
