One Direction's Zayn Malik might not be quitting the British-Irish band yet. There were rumors that he might be quitting the band as he was accused of cheating on his girlfriend.

Reports said that Malik was "on the brink" of quitting the band, Feb. 6. Malik who has been dating, band member of girl group Little Mix, Perrie Edwards for over a year now was "rocked" by reports suggesting the he cheated on the singer.

"Zayn is on the brink at the moment... He has been quite low at several points when being away for key family celebrations."

One Direction's representative clarified to EntertainmentWise that he is not quitting the band. "It's completely untrue, Zayn isn't leaving the band," he said.

But Edwards seem to have made some rules and Malik seems to be committed to it giving her more priority than to the band.

"Perrie has told Zayn that if they're going to get through this, he needs to start putting her first, Zayn immediately agreed and said that he's going to axe as much of his diary as he can over the coming few weeks," said an insider to Heat magazine.

"He's even told One Direction for the first time ever that, 'Perrie comes first - I need time to sort this out properly.'"

After the cheating allegations, Malik has been spending more time with his girlfriend. He was seen singing with the Little Mix band at Liverpool's Echo Arena. He was also seen chatting up to his girlfriend's mom.

With One Direction's world tour coming up, let's hope the two spend good time together before the tour starts.
