"Mob Boss" Domenico Ferrara has been arrested after forcing hundreds of people in his neighborhood to vote for his 13-year-old daughter on Italian X-Factor. Ferrara gave out 300 cell phones so people could text their votes in for his daughter Giovanna.

The 56-year-old set up a fan club just so that his daughter would have a bigger chance of winning, but eventually came in second place. Police were eventually tipped off about his scam and raided his home and found about 320 cellphones in bags and hid them in his cellar. The authorities found that the confiscated phones were connected to the show's voting hotline. The alleged drug smuggler put pressure on his innocent neighbors and terrified them to vote for his daughter. The alleged head of the Ferrara-Cacciapuoti Camorra clan, which is an organized crime group near Naples.

The clan is believed to be the bloodiest mob responsible for hundreds of murders. As well as trying to sabotage X-factor, Ferrara was arrested for shipping drugs from Spain to Italy. During the airing of the show, Ferrara was seen hugging his daughter after her performance
