Detroit rapper, Eminem will be dropping his eighth studio album, a follow-up to his 2010's "Recovery," after Memorial Day.

The singer of "Real Slim Shady" is "far into the process" of recording his next LP, according to Paul Rosenberg, President, Shady Records.

"We fully expect to be releasing a new Eminem album in 2013. He's been working on it for some time," said Rosenberg in an interview to Billboard. "It's safe to say that it will be post-Memorial Day at some point, but we're not exactly sure when. We've got some dates locked in for him to perform live in Europe in August, so we're trying to see what else lines up."

The dates are not fixed but all that is known is that it will be after Memorial Day, May 27. The 40-year-old rapper had given a hint in October 2012 that he will be releasing an album in 2013.

Eminem will be headlining at Reading and Leeds summer festivals. He will also be executive producingr, singer and multi-instrumentalist, Skylar Grey's debut album, "Don't Look Down."

Rosenberg also told that rapper 50 Cent's new album and the long-delayed "Street King Immortal" will be out during the first half of 2013.
