Rock band Aerosmith's frontman, Steven Tyler, is trying to pass a bill that will help celebrities safeguard their privacy against the violation in the American state of Hawaii.

The bill, now called the "Steven Tyler Act" was formulated at the instance of Tyler, who got his attorney and manager, Dina LaPolt, to work on the bill that would provide privacy from photographers who target celebrities absorbed in "personal or familial activity."

"The paradise of Hawaii is a magnet for celebrities who just want a peaceful vacation. As a person in the public eye, I know the paparazzi are there and we have to accept that. But when they intrude into our private space, disregard our safety and the safety of others, that crosses a serious line that shouldn't be ignored," said Tyler, UltimateClassicRock reported.

Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac was also present to show his support to the bill. He addressed the invasion of celebrity freedom saying, "Enough is enough."

The Bill SB465 will curb the practise of photographers using long range lenses and audio equipment to capture photos of celebrities in their homes. It will  allow legal charges against such people.

The bill has support from celebrities like, Britney Spears, Neil Diamond, Avril Lavigne, Tommy Lee of Motley Crew, Fred Coury of Cinderella, Frankie Banali of Quiet Riot, Darren Dizzy Reid of Guns N Roses, actresses Margaret Cho and Kat Von D, Jack Osborne, Sharon Osborne, Kelly Osborne and Ozzy Osborne.
