During a visit to Manila for the Under Armor Roadshow, MVP and NBA Championship winner, Steph Curry, vowed to win a second straight NBA title on Saturday.

According to Yahoo Sports and The National, while in the Philippines on Saturday, Curry claimed that the Golden State Warriors could potentially remain the reigning champs for another season.

"We feel like we're still the team to beat," he told reporters in Manila. "It's going to be a different challenge for us. We've never defended an NBA championship before so it will be a new experience for us. All eyes are on our team and every other team is trying to knock us off our throne, so we have to be even better than we were last year to get back to the top."

During the press conference, Curry also revealed that he maintains a long-running and high-stakes bet with his mother, Sonya Curry, who fines him whenever he commits three or more turnovers in a game: "I averaged probably 3.1 turnovers last year so you can do the math on who won that agreement," he said, without revealing how money he had to cough up.

Although Curry won the MVP award for last season in May, averaging 23.8 points, 7.7 assists, 2.04 steals and 4.3 rebounds and setting an NBA record for most three pointers for a single season (286 three-pointers) all while defeating LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in June, Curry still claims that he has to "be a better player going into the next season."

So, the father of the two-month-old Ryan Curry, who does not plan on leaving the Golden State Warriors despite becoming a free agent in 2017, is extremely confident in remaining an NBA Champion even in the next season, and he plans on winning multiple rings with the Warriors, all while making his way to becoming the NBA's best-ever outside shooter. Clearly, Curry's got a lot on his plate.
