During the 55th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 10, 2013, Bruno Mars, Sting, and Rihanna took the stage for a stellar tribute performance to the late reggae icon, Bob Marley. Two sons of the beloved lead singer of Bob Marley & The Wailers, Ziggy and Damian Marley, also made an appear during a live, onstage rendition of the 1980 "Uprising" hit, "Could You Be Loved." Read on to check out the awesome performance below.

The "No Woman, No Cry" Jamaican music legend would have celebrated his 67 birthday on February 6. According to Jann Wenner at Marley's posthumous induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994:

"Bob Marley was the Third World's first pop superstar. He was the man who introduced the world to the mystic power of reggae. He was a true rocker at heart, and as a songwriter, he brought the lyrical force of Bob Dylan, the personal charisma of John Lennon, and the essential vocal stylings of Smokey Robinson into one voice."

Marley also served as an inspiration for such artists including Bruno Mars, Sting, and Rihanna.

Mars opened the performance with his own new single "Locked Out Of Heaven," followed by Sting coming out and ripping into The Police's "Walking On The Moon," which then led into a Rihanna-led group performance of Marley's "Could You Be Loved."
