Boston currently holds a 65-72 winning record and is still 5th in the American League Eastern Division.

With that, Toronto snags 78 wins and 59 losses while remaining 1st in the American League Eastern Division. The Jays lost Game 1 against the Sox on Labor Day with a score of 4-11.
