Taylor Swift Vs. Kim Kardashian & Beyoncé - '1989' Singer Most Followed Instagram Celebrity

Is there about to be some "Bad Blood" erupting between Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian? Maybe not in the real world, but these two have just gone head-to-head in the social media world, and Swift looks like she has come out victorious in the battle. It is being reported that Swift has just claimed the top spot as the most followed person on Instagram, stealing the title from Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, Kim K. The news of Taylor pulling out the win comes just a couple weeks after Kim stole the crown as the most followed person on the site from Beyoncé.

However, while to the normal Instagram user it seems like the two are in a dead tie for top honor, as they both have amassed 45.5 million followers, Us Weekly is reporting that Swift has pulled out ahead of the reality TV star and mogul. Queen Bey is trailing behind the two by a mere 500,000.

We don't think we have seen the last of this battle for the top stop.

How could Tay Tay not be the top woman on the site, as she shares the most adorable picture of her cats, which we think has definitely helped her get an edge up on her competition.

Swift just recently shared a picture of herself posing with her cat with the simple caption, "Meerkat Manor."

In addition to her huge social media presence, Taylor has also topped Vanity Fair's Powers That Be list, which also includes Hillary Clinton, News Corp's James Lachlan and Disney's chief Bob Iger.

"[Swift] makes her first appearance on the list after using her platform to make giant companies like Apple conform to her will," the magazine revealed, via The Wrap.

Congrats to Swift on the record breaking honor.
