Miles gushed over the warm reception to his big news during the show's premiere and also acknowledge that some people don't understand his new lifestyle, "Not everyone will understand your journey. That's okay. You're here to live your life, not to make everyone understand." In a clip with Hazel E, Miles struggled with taking his relationship with Milan publically saying, "I just want him to understand, who I am, what I am, what I stand for. It's my way of living, it's my family, it's my religion." Hazel interrupted, "Right! But his heart is involved, Miles."

In the season premiere, Milan demanded that they go public with their relationship

"Ok, the situation is over... Why can't I go out and get me someone who's going to take me to the movies." He asked him to be serious and wanted to know what steps was Miles going to take, "What is it that you need to do to get to the point where I am today."

Miles said he understood that it's hard for Miles to take the leap and reveal his sexual orientation, "Look, I know it's not easy to come out. It's tough being a gay man in Hip Hop but I managed to have a career and be successful, despite all the bullsh*t. Sooner or later Miles is going to have to go down that same road if he ever wants to be true to himself."
