Hitman: Agent 47 producer Adrian Askarieh has some pretty big plans regarding a number of Square Enix video game titles and a possible cinematic universe. If his 2015 blockbuster is a huge hit, he's hoping to create even more films that could be joined cinematically. Currently on his mind is his adaptation of Just Cause and how the upcoming gaming title, Just Cause 3, would help shape the script for the movie. Find out more about this gameplay and story below!

"Just Cause 3 has a terrific story. It has Rico going back to Medici, the place of his birth and then subsequent displacement, and the murder of his family. And he goes back there to do what he does best which is to discombobulate regimes," the producer revealed to IGN. "That to me is a cool story and the whole concept of a guy who is sent in to discombobulate from within and to create chaos from within. And in terms of action, I think Just Cause has just as much right to be called an action movie as The Fast and Furious. They're both outlandish. You have a car going through 400 skyscrapers - well not 400, two. That's kind of a Just Cause action."

While this gaming series is known for its explosions and violence, we're hoping that a movie can translate all of the action with some solid storytelling. It sounds like Askarieh wants this, too. This project will go into production if/when Hitman: Agent 47 impresses the studio.

Askarieh detailed his cinematic universe in a new interview with IGN.
