In a statement the singer said, "HBO has a history of pushing every boundary with class and authenticity." Beyonce added, "Some of my favorite shows are on HBO, so I am excited that my film will be part of its bold programming. This film was so personal to me; it had to have the right home."

The singer revealed about her personal feelings about the time period of losing her child in  the HBO trailer, "About two years ago, I was pregnant for the first time," she continued, says. "And I heard the heartbeat, which was the most beautiful music I ever heard in my life. ... [but] I flew back to New York to get my check up - and no heartbeat. Literally the week before I went to the doctor, everything was fine, but there was no heartbeat." She added, "I picked out names," she says. "I envisioned what my child would look like . . . I was feeling very maternal. I went into the studio and wrote the saddest song I've ever written in my life. And it was the best form of therapy for me, because it was the saddest thing I've ever been through."

Finally, Beyonce revealed the lyrics to the saddest song she's ever written, "I flew back to New York to get my check up -- and no heartbeat.
