Season 10 of Bones is currently on repeat on Fox. With Season 11 of Bones in the planning stages, with a baby boy in their care, will Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) keep their son safe from a relentless Big Bad?

As we previously mentioned, the eleventh season will pick up six months after the Season 10 finale. In the time-jump, Brennan and Booth have moved on to a new town and new jobs. Though they have given up their old life and settled into a blissful death-free existence, a murder unlike any other draws them back. They reunite with their former colleagues at the Jeffersonian and FBI to solve the case.

We also mentioned, the premiere date has been set in stone. Bones will return to its regular Thursday time slot. Booth and Brennan will also have to deal with the Headless Horseman following after them. Viewers should expect the Bones/Sleepy Hollow crossover when both shows launch in October, just in time for Halloween.

According to TV Line, six months have passed since Booth and Brennan went into early retirement. Their Booth and Brennan's peaceful life includes a happy newborn son to their growing family. But when Booth ends up missing, Brennan may have to turn to the Jeffersonian for help.

Showrunner Michael Peterson reveals how retirement made the couple complacent, "They talked about moving away, but it didn't quite happen. They're still in the same house when we open the season."

Peterson reveals that the Big Bad in the season premiere, "It's not Pelant," but maintains that the crisis happens to be "a family matter." The storyline, which was brought about Boreanaz's health scare, will be resolved by the end of the second epsiode, but the "impact of what happens will carry us through."

Bones will return for Season 11 on Fox in October.
