Pop star Justin Bieber retaliates to the comment made by rock band The Black Keys' drummer Patrick Carney, saying he needs some "slapping."

"The black keys drummer should be slapped around haha," Bieber Tweeted.

The Black Keys scooped up many awards at the Grammys this year. They won four awards that included Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song, Best Rock Album and their frontman Dan Auerbach picked up the 'Producer of the Year (Non-Classical).' They had six nominations this year. As they stepped out for their celebration, TMZ asked Carney about the Grammy snub for Bieber, for which he jokingly said, "He's rich, right?" Later he added that, "Grammys are for, like, music, not for money ... and he's making a lot of money. He should be happy, I guess."

Even though Bieber's albums have gone platinum, the Grammy organisers ignored him. The 18-year-old was not nominated even for a single award by the Grammys.

Bieber released his remix album, "Believe Acoustic" Jan. 29, 2013 featuring eleven tracks. Since his debut, Forbes reported that the teen singer has sold 15 million albums, made $150 million on his tour, his movie generated $100 million in box office and his fragrance "Someday" made $60 million in retail sales. All this added up to Biber personally earning $55 million in the past 12 months and $108 million over two years.
