The Postal Service Bares Its New Unheard Track 'A Tattered Line Of String' [LISTEN]

Electronic musical group, The Postal Service have dropped a new song "A Line Of Tattered String."

"A Line Of Tattered String" is the first song from the American duo after ten years. The song features singer-songwriter Jenny Lewis. The band reunited to commemorate the tenth anniversary of their debut album, "Give Up." The album was released Feb. 18, 2003.

The new song will also be featured in the re-release of their debut album, "Give Up." The album is set to be released later in the year.

The album will have two unreleased tracks - "A Tattered Line of String" and "Turn Around" that were recorded during the recording for the original album. The album's second disc will feature live recordings, remixes and covers of the band's material by Iron & Wine and The Shins.

Their first album sold 1,050,000 copies worldwide as of Jan. 8, 2012.

The band has only two members Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello.

The band already announced their U.K. reunion tours. They will be playing in Manchester, May 18 and in London May 20. The band also performed at the Coachella on April 13 and 20.
