Season 5 of Person of Interest will return to CBS in 2016. Before their upcoming 13 episode run, Harold Finch (Michael Emerson), Sameen Shaw (Sarah Shahi), and Root (Amy Acker) will reunite for possibly the last time at the 2015 New York Comic Con.

As we previously mentioned, the cast and crew of POI conquered San Diego Comic Con for what appeared to be the last time for the show. This was the opportunity for POI cast and crew to finally address the rumors about the upcoming 13 episodes. If this is the last season, showrunner Jonathan Nolan revealed, "I can't predict down the road but we're very proud of the show and if it's the last season, no one is going to be disappointed with the story we tell."

According to TV Line, Warner Bros. TV is bringing to their returning series Gotham and Person of Interest to the conventions. These shows will be joined by freshmen series Supergirl ,Blindspot, DC's Legends of Tomorrow and Containment.

As reported by the Warner Bros. TV Tumblr Blog, there will be a special video presentation for attendees on Sunday, October 11. The panel will be followed by a Q&A with stars Michael Emerson (Finch), Kevin Chapman (Fusco), Amy Acker (Root), and Sarah Shahi (Shaw), who is confirmed for at least 9 of the 13 episodes.

The press release states, "Finch's Machine is essentially dead. Shaw is still missing. And the team is once again hiding in plain sight. But with Samaritan's invisible grip tightening everywhere, will Finch be able to rebuild and resurrect The Machine? And if he does, will it be the same Machine when it comes back online?"

In our MStars News Interview, Plageman teased to us about what's in store for Harold Finch, "I think we'd like to explore particularly this season is, what happens when someone, you know, is able to transfer some of that burden to others, but also when something so dramatic happens that there may become a shift in the character that we haven't seen before."

WGN America is currently airing both Elementary and POI in their new "Prime Crime" programming block.
