Rihanna And Chris Brown Engagement Rumors: Not Yet Engaged But Would Like Brown To Propose

Rumors sparked off when singer Rihanna was seen sporting what was thought to be an engagement ring during the Grammy awards, Feb. 11. But the rumors seem to have silenced as it was revealed in a report in EntertainmentWise that the "Diamonds" singer wants  her boyfriend and singer Chris Brown to pop the question.

The Barbadian singer and Brown were seen cuddling and hugging each other during the Grammy ceremony making their feelings of affection public. Added to this, both of them are uploading affectionate photos of each other indicative of their romance blooming.

A source told the Closer magazine that, "As far as Rihanna is concerned, it's now time for Chris to man up and be supportive of her."

"She'd love to see him make a firm commitment and make it clear to everyone especially his ex, Karrueche Tran that he's all about her now, by proposing."

Rihanna who looked calm as she attended Brown's court hearing was insistent on attending the court with Brown, sources said.

"Even though she just put on a brave face, she was taking really deep breaths and even shaking a little. She had mixed emotions about it," a source said.

"On one hand, she felt it was a big step for her and Chris. But she was also confronting all those horrible memories that came to the surface again."

Many had spotted Brown and Rihanna talking to each other just before the hearing began. Rihanna insisted on attending the court while Brown was worried if she could take it.

"There was a tearful stand-off between them, just minutes before the hearing started," added a source.

"Chris told her that she didn't have to go in, but Rihanna grabbed Chris and said really loudly, I'm going in because you've changed."

"They didn't seem to care who was watching."

A source also revealed that the couple are not engaged but Rihanna wants Brown to propose to her.

"They're not engaged. It was a piece a jeweller lent her," a source confirmed. "[Chris and Rihanna] are not secretly married at all. They are a couple and that is it, no marriage, no babies... yet," a source told Hollywoodlife.
