As Screen Rant points out, Ohila first appeared in the 50th anniversary special's prologue entitled "The Night of the Doctor." In it, the eighth Doctor (Paul McGann) drank the Elixir of Life to become the War Doctor for the special, portrayed by John Hurt. So why is she back in this new prologue? What does it mean for the Doctor, Clara (Jenna Coleman) and the rest of the upcoming cast of characters?

You can watch this prologue right here (via BBC):

This video has us all thinking about the Master, aka Missy, portrayed by the amazing Michelle Gomez. The actress reprises her role in the opening two-part premiere of season nine, entitled "The Magician's Apprentice" and "The Witch's Familiar," respectfully. Will this be the battle we wished for last season?

Here is the description of the opening episode according to BBC:

Where is the Doctor? When the skies of Earth are frozen by a mysterious alien force, Clara needs her friend. But where is the Doctor, and what is he hiding from? As past deeds come back to haunt him, old enemies will come face-to-face, and for the Doctor and Clara survival seems impossible...

There's only on true way to find out: you must tune in on September 19 when the premiere episode airs on BBC America.
