Tim Dog Dies After Suffering From Seizure, Aged 46

The Bronx rapper, Tim Dog died Feb. 14 after suffering from seizure, he was struggling with diabetes for a long time, the Source reported. He was 46 years when he took his last breath.

The rapper whose real name was Timothy Blair rose to fame in the 90s with his debut LP "Penicillin on Wax." The album had a controversial and celebrated diss track, "Fuck Compton." The track "Fuck Compton" got him recognition and critical acclaim appearing in the XXL Magazine's "Top 25 Diss Tracks of All Time." The diss was diected towards Dr. Dre and hip hop group, N.W.A.

Dog was also a member of the hip hop group Ultramagnetic MCs that had Kool Keith, Ced Gee, TR Love and Moe Love.

Dog dropped three more albums after his first, "Do Or Die" in '93, "Immortal" in '03 and "BX Warrior" in '06. The rapper also collaborated with rapper Kool Keith.

He was caught in a sting operation by "Dateline NBC" of duping a woman of $32,000 in an online dating scam. After pleading guilty, he was ordered five years probation and restitution of $19,000 to the victim.

Some of Dog's friends in the hip hop community responded to his death on Twitter.

"I'm crushed. RIP Tim Dog. The only rapper I'm bold enough to say changed my life. Penicillin on Wax is my fav rap LP of all time. Terrible," wrote J-Zone.
