However, don't send out the save the dates just yet, but according to Us Weekly, Gomez and Bieber might be taking a page out of the 21-year-old singers repertoire and saying, "never say never," when it comes to whether or not they could be a couple again in the distant future.

The former Disney Channel darling, who is currently promoting her latest music endeavor, Revival, just opened up to Elle magazine, where she explained just exactly what the status of her relation with Bieber is.

"I'll forever support him and love him in a way that," she revealed of her former lover. "We grew up together. I think people want it to be different... [but] I respect him. And I think he respects me, in a healthy manner."

While she does say that one of the new tracks from her album Same Old Love which she debuted the cover of on her Instagram account, has to deal with breaking the cycle, it might not mean that she is breaking the cycle on her romance with Bieber.
